Saturday, March 7, 2015 - Tercero Dinner #2 in the OC with Larry Schaffer (A Restaurant In Newport Beach, CA): Shows the same aromatic consistency from the 2009 and 2011, with the diesel/petrol note. Shading of lemon, the same depth of melon found in the other two vintages and the a guava-like note. I wrote "pure" in my notes, to convey a balance and clean sensation. Like with a lot of Larry's wines last night, there is a spicy note in the finish, this one anise-like for me.
