Wednesday, April 15, 2015 - Tuscan wine tasting at home 4/11/15 - Beautiful dark gold color, clear. Medium aromas of lemon curd/ candied pineapple, as well as an almond bitterness. Very full in mouth, extended skin contact is evident in this wine. Aftertaste somewhat dominated by bitter aspect, quite tannic for a white whine, Medium(+) acidity as well. Very interesting wine, and could be better with food. Would receive a higher rating, but I did find it somewhat disjointed, presumably due to the bitter aspect.
