  • Dark gold with bronze tint - clear. Moderate aromas of yellow flowers/ almond/ candied lemon and quince. Moderate viscosity and nice body on the palate. Full in the mouth, presumed from extended skin contact there is also moderate tannins. Palate more lemon/ almond. Moderate(+) acidity with pleasant lingering bitterness. Has lost some aroma compared to previous bottle but not as disjointed.

  • Beautiful bright golden color and a very interesting aromas. An enjoyable medium to full body wine that displayed nice viscosity, soft and round on the mouth feel. It reminded me of a cross between a chardonnay on the pallet and a viognier on the nose.

  • Lovely gold in the glass. Herbal / citrus nose. Understated lemon in the mouth, moving directly into a more complex floral / mineral middle before finishing with a bright lemon-y acidity. "It's a lemon sandwich!" she said...

  • Tuscan wine tasting at home 4/11/15 - Beautiful dark gold color, clear. Medium aromas of lemon curd/ candied pineapple, as well as an almond bitterness. Very full in mouth, extended skin contact is evident in this wine. Aftertaste somewhat dominated by bitter aspect, quite tannic for a white whine, Medium(+) acidity as well. Very interesting wine, and could be better with food. Would receive a higher rating, but I did find it somewhat disjointed, presumably due to the bitter aspect.

  • The wine is clear and bright with a medium lemon colour.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of flowers (chamomile), pungent spices (white pepper), green fruit (green apple), citrus (lemon) and herbal notes (sage).

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has a medium(+) alcohol and a medium body. It has medium intensity flavours of flowers (chamomile), pungent spices (white pepper), green fruit (green apple), citrus (lemon) and herbal notes (sage). The finish is medium.

It is a good quality wine. It has just enough flavour concentration and a persistent enough finish. However the alcohol is somewhat unbalanced and the wine could show more aromatic complexity.

Can drink now, but the wine has just enough flavour concentration and acidic structure to be kept for 1-2 years more, albeit it is unlikely to develop much more complexity.
