Wednesday, April 15, 2015 - What a difference 3 years in the cellar made (see 5/15/12 note). This wine has significantly improved. Clear garnet with a subtle brick tint. Nose of black cherry, tar, spice, and herbs. Ripe medium palate of black cherry, black licorice, cinnamon, and vanilla. Excellent length. Refreshing acidity. The tannins are youthful, but have lost some grip. Evolving nicely.
