Saturday, October 20, 2007 - deep purple color and an explosive nose of cedary plum and vanilla. very balanced on the palate though. there's a ton of rich plum and cherry fruit, with some cola and cedary tones, but it's medium bodied, and not syrupy. i detected only a bit of heat. a very delicious shiraz.
