Saturday, May 23, 2015 - WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Medium ruby colour.
Nose: The nose is Clean and Youthful, showing Medium(+) intensity primary aromas of raspberry, red cherry, red plum and secondary aromas of toast, smoke.
Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium(+) level of acidity. It has Medium Ripe/Soft tannins and a Medium Level of alcohol (12.50%). It has Medium body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of raspberry, red cherry, red plum and secondary flavours of toast, smoke. The finish is Medium. It has simple fresh red fruit
Overall: Lacks complexity and length.
Conclusion: It is a Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing Lacks the structure and concentration to improve with ageing in bottle.; Inexpensive (£4.50)
