Wednesday, October 31, 2007 - Sacrificed in its youth in the name of science based on a few recent reports- popped/tasted and let stand all day. Open, generous, dark and classic serralunga power allied with beautifully ripe fruit. Fennel, rose, tar all making appearances, followed by focused, persistent nebbiolo fruit colored with a distinc mineral strain. Bracing (but not mouth puckering) tannis provide the frame for this beauty. Shows really great promise and worth checking in on if you have more than just a few, just to know where it stands at this point in its evolution.
