Friday, July 3, 2015 - 2005 Chateau Plince is dark and smoky with tobacco leaves, black pepper, and cherry juice. Good dose of acidity and low alcohol (13% on the label) give it brightness and a charming personality. This was fantastic after 30 minutes (91 points quality), but it became weak and skim-milky with another 30 minutes after that. (87 points quality)
I don’t think this should be decanted. It was somewhat drinkable on the second day, but if you can, finish it on the first day.
