Community Tasting Note

Sunday, August 2, 2015 - Picked this up after a tasting at the Wente tasting room. This is a non-typical Chardonnay. If I didn't know, I would think I was drinking a Sauvignon Blanc - which explains why I liked it. I've sort of been on a quest to find a Chardonnay that rings my bell. This isn't the holy grail but it stands above the crowd and earned a spot in my fridge.
Day 2 - tastes even better and now its clearly a Chardonnay (no confusing it for a Sauv Blanc). Rich with a dense mouth feel. Refreshing, just a bit crisp. Delicious.
