Sunday, October 4, 2015 - Tasted immediately after opening. Medium golden colour. Unfortunately the nose displays clear signs of oxidation with windfall apples, malt extract and sherry dominating over more subtle notes of citrus, smoke and seashore. The palate, however, is not bad at all – generous fruit, pronounced minerality and good length. Won’t score this one as there’s obviously something wrong here, but it was still too good for the kitchen sink.
