Wednesday, October 21, 2015 - This is special. Lemon zest, grapefruit, slate, med+ acid, med+ finish. Slightly reduced on open but was extremely fragrant after a couple minutes. Like a white burgundy on steroids with some white peach and a faint trace of iodine. If this and the chard the Varner brothers are producing is indicative of the kind of chard this appellation can produce I hope more vines get planted up there.
