Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - I brought two bottles back from Australia in 2004 and had one in 2005 (Christmas) and one in 2006 (Christmas). Truly one of the best wines I have ever had. Colour was a very dark red - darker than ruby, closer to brown. Initital taste was intense - oak, tobacco, black pepper. The spice died down but intense flavour continued but a pleasnt aftertaste. It's been a while since I enjoyed this wine but will always be looking for more. Perfect with a grilled steak.
