Tuesday, November 24, 2015 - This 2007 Barbaresco was ready to go almost from the start with nice floral aromas from the moment the cork was pulled. Medium-full bodied, the wine showed red fruits on the palate. It's beautifully smooth, easy to drink with light acidity and polished tannins. Finish is medium in length. Excellent, enjoyable Barbaresco, but perhaps slightly lacks the complexity to be rated outstanding. This is in a good place now and should last a number of years longer. But I somehow doubt the potential to evolve further complexity. I'm therefore going to enjoy this now whilst I know by my tastes it's in a good zone.
