88 Points

Friday, December 4, 2015 - The lightish colour this has is fairly typical of Hunter Shiraz. Possessing a reasonably perfumed nose of mainly spirity red fruits, some earthiness and a touch of leather. A little one dimensional on the palate at this point in time. The medium to light bodied red plum and cherry flavours tend to disappear rather quickly with not much linger. The back palate has some chocolate oak and pronounced tannin. This needs time and plenty of it. I expect this will open up considerably in the years to come. Potential is there for a 90+ score later on.
