Tuesday, December 8, 2015 - WWS Price/Preference Smackdown (blind tasting) (White Plains, NY): Drank blind at WWS tasting alongside a 2011 Felsina. Nose of dark berries & some wood. Quite a bit on the tannic side. Dark cherry fruit, pleasant mouthfeel, good length & complexity. Some forest elements here but hard to get through the very grippy tannins at this stage. Needs time to develop, and definitely decant.
