Friday, December 25, 2015 - Did not have great expectations going into it, but this fully delivered a grand cru experience from a stellar vintage. Still robust Crimson color. Very developed nose of smoke, bacon, menthol and lilacs. Much younger palate with surprisingly fair amount of structure and fresh acidity. Sweet liquored cherries and soy sauce dominate the palate. Quite long with refreshing tartness on the finish. I like this quite a lot!
