Sunday, December 27, 2015 - One of two chardonnays served at our wine tasting party- other was a Napa chardonnay from Alpha Omega (2009). The contrast in styles between the two wines was striking. The Martinelli was a much bigger wine, the tropical fruit was the primarily flavor profile. Our friends at the party preferred the Martinelli, largely based upon its stronger fruit profile.
