Friday, December 7, 2007 - Although the Zin does take over a bit, the Pinot Noir lightens it up. Jammy nose with a hint of tree fruit. Almost as sweet as pie filling, the pinot cuts through the others with a tad of acidity. Very interesting blend. Can't taste anything that the Syrah brings to the bottle, but it was a good quaffer, and went well with roasted chicken and risotto.
