Friday, January 15, 2016 - Getting a lot of bottle variation in these. We drank one from the same set about a week ago and it was highly alcoholic and even a bit offputting. This was in a completely different place. Great fruit and spice. Interesting because there really wasn't a lot of evolution from a few years ago.

4/9/2016 5:32:00 PM - If I remember correctly they do these as more of a Merlot based blend in most years (not all, I think depends on what they get), but the bottle just says 'proprietary blend' and notes that the varietals are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
