Saturday, February 27, 2016 - PNP after a Napa Cab tasting (Battle BV). You'd never guess this wine was 19 years old! Ruby core with a hint of garnet at the rim, this was immediately open for business. Black fruit, plum, spice, and earth were at the front, then tinges of tobacco, violet, mint and oak to balance out the finish. Tannins are near resolution, but given the depth and balance this could be a 30+ year wine easy. WOW!
