Wednesday, March 16, 2016 - A private dinner (Restaurant Adam, Amsterdam, NL): Tasted blind. Complete, velvety, spicy, very rich, rounded, fully mature but with amazing fruit, incredibly layered and complex, black tea, beef stew, melting and harmonious, cool minerality, fresh mushroom, length and depth. Develops very quickly in the glass, lovage. Recently acquired at auction, provenance unknown, probably some storage issues. Perfect bottles must be otherworldly.
