Sunday, April 24, 2016 - Perfect golden color. Lovely nose of ripe lemons, pineapple, butter, clove spice and stinging minerals. Quite rich and concentrated with very intense and ripe lemony fruit which leads to a very complex finish with notes of minerals, brown spices and a hint of sulphur. There is still good acidity to balance out the intense ripeness and I think this is perfectly mature now although it should hold. A very good aged Combettes.
