Wednesday, June 1, 2016 - PNP. Cork intact and wet 1/4 way up. Color garnet. Nose is classic ageing burgundy. Mostly sous bois and some iodine w spices. Swishing shows mostly acid structure with some fine tannins bringing up the rear - borders on astringent. Sipping however allows the density of this to balance the structure and the fruit continues on the med length polished finish. This is very nice tonight.

The village wines from 05 seem ready to go but this will undoubtedly hold or even improve some in my opinion.
