Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - Dark cherry red.
Complex nose of coniferous forest floor, damp earth, a burnt forest after rain, charcuterie.
Open lovely palate with a fair deal of complexity and well delineated flavours, rose hip, violets, cherry liqueur, poached cumquat, tea, mocha and a rocky minerality. Fresh and elegant mouthfeel. Still has a long way ahead of it, ie. structure for 20+ years.
