Monday, October 31, 2016 - This is by far the best bottle i had so far. It shows more vigor and intensity than previous bottles, more poise and character. Golden colour. Hay, grass, pear, apple, lot of minerals, but first there is a striking smell of animal notes and wet fermenting grass and hay (others said manure) that calmed down after some minutes. The aging potential of this white is really exceptionel. It's not especially fun to drink this. It's just an experience. If the cork holds out this seems to be immortal. I never had younger vintages of this. May be the style has changed significantly, but this is everything, but not oxidative in style.
