Tuesday, November 1, 2016 - Rule the Rhone; 10/27/2016-11/3/2016 (Northern & Southern Rhone): The textbook example of Contemporary wine making in CdP. This had no oak and lower production vineyards. The fruit was very bright and prevalent and just shone through. The person doing our tasting said jammy and I'd agree in that it was fruity, but the fruit wasn't mashed but more clean feeling if that makes any sense. I enjoyed it. I'd wonder at how long the wine can last without any of the oak, but there is something really nice in just tasting the grapes.
