Friday, November 18, 2016 - 45 minute decant, which was a good idea, give this some air. The nose is a tangy cherry/boysenberry mix with some heated spiciness added in. The palate is medium in tannins and a little brisk on the acidic side, with red fruits, bramble, earth and licorice all well played. Medium bodied with a long finish, the mouthfeel is juicy and bright. This is a lively, well made zin, another great bottle of Turley.
