Friday, December 2, 2016 - Not a sexy, voluptuous wine like most pomerol. More cerebral and lightweight and takes its time to come around. It was crunchy and high acid, and even lean and green upon opening. Red berries and pomegranate. For 2011 this is a success, but it needs 5 years or some serious aeration to truly coax this wine out of its shell. The tannins still seem just too much at this point.
