Friday, January 6, 2017 - Purple in color bordering on ruby red. The nose is old world earthy with a mix of raisins and tobacco. On the palate this is a ready to drink, well integrated wine. A bit acidic but I think that is because the tannins are totally integrated. Good earthy complexity... the word I keep coming to is "chewey". Very fun to drink, almost reminds me of an old Barolo than a Brunello
