Monday, January 16, 2017 - {cork, 12.5%} Pretty, developing aromatics; cherries, white pepper, spice, peachy/apricot sweetness. The palate has a little ripe fruit left, but is overwhelmed by drying, dusty tannins. Not oak, just ultra-drying out tannins. Food helps, but it lacks generosity. Dried fruit, not over-ripe, just really dessicated. At, or beyond, peak.
