Saturday, January 21, 2017 - My first time trying Quilceda Creek. Super concentrated, massive and unique wine. Deep, black fruit flavors with a slight hint of old world spice and funk. Even at this age, the wine borders on unapproachable upon opening. It started to strut its stuff after about an hour of air. I think I would recommend sitting on this one for a little bit longer. It's only getting better.
