Sunday, January 29, 2017 - Gorgeous nose with a compote of rhubarb, raspberries, whole-cluster pinot, wet rocks and a hint of vanilla. Has tons of charm and a natural feel to it - a bit like a great Morgon from Foillard. Soft and silky with lovely fruit, beautiful freshness/transparency and impeccable balance - not the merest hint of heat at 13,6% abv. Drinks really well now as the structure is quite understated and not really meant for longer ageing. Just wonderful!
