Still tasting good !! Cork was saturated about 25%, easily removed. Dark burgundy color with modest oxidation; clarity low. Consumed over two days. On day one, a little tart and not exciting; however, on day two this wine revealed a marvelously complex wine with aromas of cranberry and black cherry and soft velvety bramble fruit taste with a medium finish. This Pinot Noir has aged nicely, I still have one bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar. Quit a surprise, anxious to try the last one soon.

- Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of black pepper, smokey, cedar and bacon. It's balanced and has flavours of cherry, black currant and raspberry with a medium body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Long rich finish. Smoked meat on the nose too.

This was in a very nice place with sweet ripe red and black cherry fruit. Smooth sweet tannins very light acidity. Pretty mellow with age, but showing still nice primary fruit. Not much in the way of secondary development, but the balance of the wine is still nicely intact.

Pnp. Gorgeous right out of the bottle. The nose and palate are intoxicating even without the alcohol. A mix between new and old world. Although I don't think there's a rush to drink this vintage, I can't imagine there being a more enjoyable experience in it's evolution.

Tasted blind with 2006 Comte Armand Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epeneaux and 2012 Terra Sancta Mysterious Diggings (Central Otago). I had trouble distinguishing this from the Terra Sancta (at almost one quarter the price) but ultimately guessed right. Lively black and red fruit, cola, and cinnamon. More delicious than complex. I anticipate some improvement with a few more years of aging.
Tasting non-blind today, I noticed a touch of desirable greenness. What separates this wine from the Terra Sancta is the richness of the fruit; the Terra Sancta tastes a little hollow when the two wines are compared side by side.

Gorgeous nose with a compote of rhubarb, raspberries, whole-cluster pinot, wet rocks and a hint of vanilla. Has tons of charm and a natural feel to it - a bit like a great Morgon from Foillard. Soft and silky with lovely fruit, beautiful freshness/transparency and impeccable balance - not the merest hint of heat at 13,6% abv. Drinks really well now as the structure is quite understated and not really meant for longer ageing. Just wonderful!

The nose on this wine is absolutely intoxicating. At this point it's a little funky in a good way. The rest of it is good but not great. If the acidity/tannins were better, this would be a great wine. I've tried this wine over the course of four years now and I don't see any reason not to drink up.

Pop and pour and served without food. Ripe and rich fruit. Good cherry component with a nice spice finish. Sufficient acidity to give the wine lift. Inviting and delicious.

Dark red color. PNP, split bottle over 3 hours. This was a pretty typical fruit forward Cali pinot. Ripe red fruits up front, good spiciness, cherry, red berry on the nose. The palate is medium plus bodied, rather silky, ripe cherry, ripe raspberry with hints of pomegranate, wood spice, a little stemmy, cherry vanilla, medium finish. Tannins are well integrated. Probably drinking near peak. Not something I would seek out, but fans of the style will surely enjoy this even more.

This was really good directly after opening but saved half for day 2 and it was better still at that point. Easily could wait another couple of years to pop this one and if doing it now, just give it a couple of hours to open up or drink slowly over the course of prepping and eating a great meal.

Last of my 2010s. On to the 11s and 12s. This is a consistently tasty Pinot. Rich and fruit forward, I think it is excellent relative to others in this price range and keep coming back for more.

This was a very nice bottle of wine. In my opinion it is clearly West Coast New World in style; full of lush, ripe fruit and a bit of background sweetness. I have to reflect on whether it is worth the price and the effort to acquire.

When I popped the cork and took a whiff, red raspberry burst out of the glass. Over the course if the night, turned darker. Black raspberry, black cherry and cranberry. Bright acidity. Texture wasn't just silky but satiny. Very long on the palate.

Tasted at a gathering of friends. Six bottles of California Pinot placed in brown bags and labelled with names of some of the favorite movies. The favorite movies named (not mine, mind you),were Twister, Risky Business, Seven, The Usual Suspects, Moonstruck, and Princess Bride.
Notes are from the blind tasting: The Radio Coteau was "The Usual Suspects."
Like the movie, The Usual Suspects, this wine showed complexity and layers of intrigue. At first, it offered up a funky nose of earth and brown spice. After some time, the dark fruits come shining through with a back beat of funk. Nice combination of earth and cherries and even a plum note that rounds things out, all in a well structured package.

We drank our first bottle of this 5 months ago and I gave it a 96 at that time. Nothing this time changes my mind this is just a fabulous Pinot. Wonderful rich notes on the nose, soft notes of berries and cherries on the palate. A rich complex wine. I forgot how wonderful Radio Coteau wines are and I wonder why they get so little respect.

The thing that strikes me most about the La Neblina bottling is how utterly devoid it is of off notes. That's an accomplishment in itself given how prone Pinot is to quirky notes but I'm calling this one 95 because it's not only flawless but has pretty much everything I'm looking for in domestic Pinot Noir. Bright aromatics. Silky smoothness on the palate. A complex array of desirable aromatics and flavors. Long finish. Just amazing. Classic CA Pinot Noir and it doesn't cost a fortune. Great wine. Great producer.

Very solid and straight forward CA Pinot. Bright nose of spicy red fruit. Extremely ripe on the palate. Very forward. Opened nicely and took on a creamy texture with vanilla notes. Medium finish with a bit of heat.

Excellent California Pinot. I haven't had a Radio Coteau Pinot in several years and I forgot how good they are, great glowing deep crimson color in the glass, incredible long legs, and deep sweet berries on the nose. The wine shines in the mouth with multiple layers of flavors from cherries to raspberries to cola to pepper all very subtle and long mouth watering finish. A great bottle of wine at not a ridiculous price.

Very nice pinot. Improves after being open for an hour. I would decant for 2-3 hours if opening now. I agree that it lacks a little in intensity and length for the price. For the intellectual.
