Friday, March 24, 2017 - I find oak a little too prevalent in this bottle. The nose is pleasant with black fruit and blueberry notes but also strong oak. To the taste, nice acidity but the fruit is quickly masked by oak. Also a little hot. There is a pleasant nutmeg aftertaste that lingers for minutes. Perhaps paired correctly this would fare well.
