Wednesday, April 5, 2017 - Wax-sealed top. Drank over business meeting with DC.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of saline and chalk minerality, yellow flowers, honey, citrus lemon. Developed.
On the palate, dry, rounded medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of honeyed citrus lemon, saline minerality, chalky minerality. Medium finish.
Very good quality Bourgogne Blanc. Simple as a Bourgogne should be, but very effortlessly enjoyable and easy to appreciate. Will hold for another year or two but will not improve any more.
