Definitely at the end of its life, though still a very decent bottle of wine, it is clear to me that this was meant to be drunk young, and I shall do so with other vintages I hold.

13% I believe the very first time I had this wine was the 2010 vintage and I really like it, unpretentiously delicious with little complexity. . The 2013 is showing well right out of the bottle. Highly aromatic of passion fruits, saltiness, hint of nuts, lemon oil, herbs and spices. Really really nice. This has very good richness for a Bourgogne and what I really like is the acidity and tension here, finishes light with good minerality. Nice.

Sunday lunch wine served blind by our super generous host...To compare with the 2014 Domaine Fourrier Bourgogne Blanc and 2013 PYCM Bourgogne Blanc. This was very a-typical for a BB...Floral, honey and quince!

Wax-sealed top. Drank over business meeting with DC. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of saline and chalk minerality, yellow flowers, honey, citrus lemon. Developed. On the palate, dry, rounded medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of honeyed citrus lemon, saline minerality, chalky minerality. Medium finish. Very good quality Bourgogne Blanc. Simple as a Bourgogne should be, but very effortlessly enjoyable and easy to appreciate. Will hold for another year or two but will not improve any more.

Well-made and enjoyable but not as good as the price and pedigree would lead one to believe. Drink now, these don't last long.
