Saturday, May 20, 2017 - Lords en primeur tasting. A tannin monster of a wine, very dark, hugely concentrated fruit without any of the usual Baron over extraction. I normally prefer Lalande but this year Baron has done it. Lacks the balance typical of the vintage but a top wine nonetheless. Superb in the blockbuster style.
