88 Points

Sunday, June 25, 2017 - Popped and poured with the help of my little aerator. Made from 80 years old gnarly old vines, this Grenache in appearance is a light, slightly dirty, ruby. Rustic, meaty, a little gamey upfront, dark red cherries, white pepper all predominant. Medium bodied, sweet, oak, cherries again and dry and savoury upfront. Quite a good little finish, the oak will burn off over time. Probably drunk 18 months too early.
Will hold a few years easily, drink by 2023
