Thursday, July 6, 2017 - Pale straw color. Aroma of pear and citrus. Medium bodied. Pineapple, pear, grapefruit and a hint of lemon zest on a medium finish. Nicely balanced with medium acidity. I sense a slight change in style in more recent vintages, toward something a bit more mellow than earlier efforts. Initially chalked it up to age with the 2015 but the 2016 has the same characteristics. Makes for a more interesting wine without sacrificing the crispness.
