90 Points

Saturday, July 8, 2017 - Decent Martinborough Pinot Noir. But for me, it doesn't punch above its standard level as Bob Campbell suggests (he gave 95).

On the nose and light-medium bodied palate there's bright cherry and plum, French oak spices, and some wet pebble, orange pith and smokiness. The mid-palate is clean with smooth, nicely rounded tannins. And there's a nice subtle mix of strawberry and a sappy dryness to the finish.

Not bad for an entry level Martinborough Pinot. A Wozza 90/100 (3.2/5.0) from me.
