Sunday, August 13, 2017 - Decanted for 2 hours. Very strong but pleasant aroma. Classic Spring Mountain fruit. Powerful layers of cherry, blueberry, pomegranate mixed with slight earth notes and a hint of sweet vanilla found in a medium to long finish. Heavy tannins, still a little ripe and concentrated. Should improve over the next few years. Highly recommend several hours of decanting as this wine significantly improved over the final few glasses.
