Wednesday, September 13, 2017 - Haven't had this wine in ages -- in fact I must have had one of the earliest vintages last time. It's pretty much exactly what I recall or expected. Oodles of rich black fruit, with smoky oak that leans toward incense. Also some cinnamon and clove on the finish. Good acidity and tannic structure for balance. Not a superstar wine, but definitely solid.
