Likes this wine:

Friday, September 15, 2017 - PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark ruby w purplish edges. Nose has cranberry, sap and strawberries w some earth but mostly bright red fruit bordering on cinnamon. Swishing shows significant acid and tannin structure that dries the finish. Sipping shows the ripeness of the vintage and gives a full bodied glossy mouthfeel that is quite pleasant. I have had several different vintages from pataille but this seems the most complete so far. Say what you like about marsannay but this is serious wine that pleases tonight. I think that this has what it takes to go for awhile too. I think it improved with decanting....just needs some air
