Sunday, September 17, 2017 - This pale yellow wine is a blend of 82% Sauvignon Blanc, 14% Sémillon, 3% Sauvignon Vert and 1% Muscat Canelli. Offering a nice bouquet of jasmine, orange zest, stone fruits and Asian spices, it is light-to-medium-bodied and vibrantly acidic. The flavors mirror the aromas, resonating with oak as a result of its partial barrel fermentation. The middle palate is dense, while the lengthy finish shows some heat from its 14.4% alcohol. Overall this is a well-made Sauvignon Blanc, but is a bit overdone with respect to oak and alcohol. Drink now-2019.
