Thursday, November 23, 2017 - I brought this bottle to a time share for Thanksgiving. I arrived on Saturday, so it had 4+ days to rest and was cushioned on the trip up here. I had hoped to share this bottle with several others, but things happen. Without a decanter, I opened the bottle about four hours before we ate. I found it most enjoyable with a fine nose. The tannins have mellowed and the fruit is still quite nice. There seems to be a slightly acidic aftertaste if one searches for it - maybe a sign that it has reached the peak and is ready to slide downhill. I believe I have one more bottle of this and will love to enjoy it with friends.
