Thursday, November 23, 2017 - Fragrant, explosively aromatic nose of blueberry, strawberry and black raspberry. Ripe blue and red fruit with cherry and minerals on the palate. Good tannins, medium body and lively acidity. Very soft mouthfeel, slight chalkiness mixed with fruit compote. Wonderful example of what the Gamay grape can do. This was a perfect complement to Thanksgiving dinner and the magnum was a hit. I loved it.
