Saturday, December 16, 2017 - A complex bouquet of leather, truffles, black plums and licorice. Rich and smooth black fruit with coffee, graphite and savory smoked meat. Very smooth and supple with layers of flavors. Finish has got some grip but lingering. Need at least 3 hrs of decanting to bring out the flavors and balance.

Another tasting in Oct 2018, the wine is slightly more open with sweeter fruits and toasty spices. Still requires extensive decanting for a more balanced and smooth palate. Wait for 3-5 more years.

Retasted in July 2021, the nose and palate did not change much from the last tasting. Palate is just a bit more open showing some savoury flavours and spices. Wait for 3 more years. No change in score.
