Tuesday, January 30, 2018 - 45 minute powered decant. Pretty balanced GSM blend. Deep purple. Nose of blackberries and lavender. Taste of blackberries, raspberries and cocoa with notes of smoked turkey jerky, vanilla and bourbon. Has a little too much heat to it but that would likely dissipate with a longer decant. Definitely improving as time passes in the glass so would recommend a good 1 to 2 hour decant. Medium to low tannins with medium to high acidity. Another good Paso Robles GSM and at an excellent QPR around $45.
