Friday, March 25, 2005 - Pale/medium garnet core, medium mahogany rim. Medium intense red cherry fruit, spice and some damp earth, perhaps slightly closed. On the palate this has medium + acidity with medium firm tannins. A medium bodied wine with reasonably good depth on the palate - ripe raspberry fruit with spice and earth emerging on a good length, well balanced finish. A very good wine, this will probably improve/open out over the next couple of years and continue to drink for a further 5 years after that.
