This is my kind of "old school" Cabernet- reminds me of the old Laurel Glens with a terrific herbal green quality. Aromas of green pepper, eucalyptus, currants and cassis. There's a subtle lavender note in the background (evidently TLV mentioned this 10 minutes ago but I was arguing with Domino about 'green' notes and missed his commentary). Plush tannins, nicely ripe for the "cool" year; red plum, currant and herb flavors. Lengthy finish. Excellent. Enjoy while the "better" vintages rest in the cellar.
